Life is sustained on the principle of give and take. Sowing and harvest are the products of give and take. The survival of mankind depends solely on the same principle. Just as no seed can multiply on its own expect it is sown, so also that thing you hold unto will not multiply expect it is let go. John 12:24 established this word of knowledge “Most assuredly. I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.”

The word “to let go” means to put to use or to put to work that which is readily available; no matter how small is it. But oftentimes, we intend to withhold the little we have because of fear of known and unknown events around us. The present anxiety manipulates our mind to believing that what we have is extremely small; our income is too meagre to give chance for investment or be a blessing to others.  But there is no way such can multiply if we will refuse to let it go. Proverb 11:24 emphasized on this; “There is one who scatters, yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, it leads to poverty.” I read the story of Bill Gate, the Microsoft Chief Executive, whose present annual turnover is in billions of U.S Dollars. He started with just two hundred U.S. Dollars and today he is one of the richest men in the world. What a humble beginning! If he refused to let go that 200 USD, l doubt it if the story will be the same today. If that little boy in the Bible refused to let go five barley loaves and two small fish at his disposal, five thousand excluding women and children would not had been fed; twelve baskets filled with fragments would not had been gathered John 6:9,13. Widow of Zarephath willingly obeyed Prophet Elijah at the expense of her own comfort. Her bin of flour not used up nor the jar of oil run dry until the day the LORD sends rain on the earth I King17:13-16.

God gave only begotten Son to mend the broken wall between Him and mankind John 3:16. In as much our Creator can give His only begotten Son in order to reconnect us back to Him, what else is so precious that we cannot let it go? Give what you have at your disposal in order to enjoy the principle of multiplications. It is what you sow that will come back to you as harvest.
