THE APPOINTED TIME
by

To everything there is a season, an appointed time for every purpose under heaven. A time to born, a time to die; a time to sow and a time to reap what is planted; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time of lack, and a time of abundance; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time of merry; a time of discomfort, and a time of comfort; a time of war, and a time of peace. Every event of life be it good or bad, will definitely happen at the appointed time. Habakkuk 2:3 says, “For the vision [is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS

No matter the present circumstance of your life, no matter the extent at which life has treated you badly, no matter how many times life has put your back on the ground, no matter the setbacks you have suffered in actualizing your dreams, listen to your inner gentle voice saying, “NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS.”

Never give up because of the present state of your life; never give up because of the present season you are passing through. This season will definitely fade away; another season will overtake the present state you are passing through. Do not allow the present predicament drain your inner energy before a new dawn will break forth. Do not ever mistake God’s patience for His absence. A new season will surely come to pass. The appointed thing comes at the appointed time in the appointed way.

Remember Joseph, he did not give up when he was going through his own unpleasant seasons. He was sold into slavery by his brothers, from slavery to prison. From a dreamer, he became an interpreter of another people’s dreams. When his appointed time came, he was remembered for his good deeds. David was a forgotten son. He was left alone in the wilderness to watch over sheep. He was exposed to all manner of threats to his life watching over the sheep. He did not allow his unpleasant seasons to drain his potentials and energy. He developed leadership skill while watching over the sheep in the wilderness; he became a skilful player of musical instruments; a man of war, prudent in speech and a handsome person. When the appointed time came, a new season took him from wilderness to palace. The entire universe cannot stop a man or woman whose appointed time has come! You have to believe that God’s plan is the best always! He is never early, never late, always on time. He will definitely come at the appointed time. Just hold on and hold out.
