Life will just be a lot easier, excellent and succulent if we let everything we do, both physical and spiritual, be routed through Jesus Christ. If we will let the Holy Spirit train our mind in this manner and we choose to abide by the same, our day-to-day living will be so simple and yet full of glory and power I John 2:27. This is the exact way God designed for us to live in Christ Jesus. This is what the Holy Spirit has come to do. In John 15:26 Jesus said, “But when the Comforter is come, Whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceeds from the Father, He (Holy Spirit) shall testify of Me (Jesus Christ).” This is what our primary labour must be all about, labouring to be doing EVERYTHING in life out of Jesus’ mind. Carrying the consciousness of Jesus Christ always in everything we do, playing, working, shopping and doing all manners of things (beautiful things of life according to God’s word) will help us enjoy God’s best always and also to be MODERATE in everything.

Get to know this; God is interested in everything about our life. Go through the law in the Old Testament, you will see God getting involved in every aspect of His peoples’ affairs. He addressed everything, those that might be considered very negligible. How much more then in grace! Now everyone that has accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour has become God’s child. And have you seen a good parent that does not want to be into everything of their children, especially when they are still young? And the Bible calls us little children. If we therefore accept this name of our Father, then we will let carrying Jesus’ mind in everything we do be our spontaneous way of life.

Some people claim God gave us brain so that we would not be bothering Him. Yes, that is very correct! But even while using our brain, we should let Jesus be an underlying factor always. Imagine we going shopping with this mindset, we will always buy clothes that glorify God. God’s mind for clothing is that we dress for glory and for beauty. Note the order glory and then beauty. Exodus 28:2&4 reveals this. This scripture is applied to us because we are made priests unto God by Jesus Christ in the New Testament, I Peter 2:9 and Revelation 1:5-6. Many people, even in church, only dress for beauty. No concern for glory at all. This is the reason why we have many people almost going naked in the public. Here is the issue; the absence of glory connotes nakedness. When glory was lifted off Adam and Eve as a result of sin, they all of a sudden discovered that they

were naked. Now you do not need to be properly covered to know you are beautiful. But surely the essence of glory is for proper covering of nakedness. I Corinthians 10:31 says, “Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God.” Colossians 3:17 says, “And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.” The question is, who do you do all you do to glorify? The devil; yourself (an indirect way of being manipulated by the devil); or Jesus Christ or in whose name do you do all your stuffs? Galatians 5:16 & 25 say, “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” God’s grace be with them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
