The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the appointment of state coordinators for the seven North-west and six South-west states of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The appointees were revealed in a press release by the ruling party on Sunday night.
The press release contained names and numbers of appointed coordinators for the South-West, and North-West states that will mobilize electorates for the ruling party as it prepares for the 2023 general elections.

Meanwhile, the ruling party and its presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, had earlier set criteria for appointing cabinet members if the party wins the 2023 election.
A key member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council who spoke with Leadership on condition of anonymity said people willing and eligible for key positions in the administration must meet the minimum pre-qualification.
He disclosed that the mistake of the previous government is to appoint people who considered themselves technocrats, lacking the necessary political will to implement government policies.
The presidential campaign council said the next cabinet members must share in the party’s vision from the start.
