It would be recalled that the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Osun State Command recently unveiled a new ambulance and one Land Cruiser (buffalo) given by the Federal Government through the Ministry of Interior.
In its own way of collaborating with NSCDC, Osun State Command, the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Osun State branch has donated some first aid drugs to help during emergencies.
Speaking on this new development, the State Commandant, Sunday Agboola, expressed his appreciations to Federal Government, the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and Commandant General Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi mni. for the kind gesture.
He said, the ambulance would assist the Command in its service to the people of the State. In his words, “I want to acknowledge the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and the Commandant General Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi mni. for deeming it fit to provide this facility for Osun State Command and to all other States in Nigeria”. NSCDC is known for attending to disaster management and crisis management, the provision of these would aid in performing very well in that regards and I want to thank the association of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Osun State branch under the able leadership of Prof. Moses Akanmu for their gesture in providing what we need to make the ambulance remains functional to the generality of Osun people.
Commandant Agboola therefore called on well meaning individuals in the country to rise up to the challenges of helping security agencies in the country.
