The Osun State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Igbalawole Sotiyo, has reiterated his commitment to fostering a robust partnership with the Department of State Services (DSS) to strengthen security in the state. This was highlighted during a courtesy visit to the DSS Director, Ayoola Kehinde, fsi, at the DSS headquarters in Osun.

Strengthening Synergy for Statewide Security

In their discussion, Kehinde commended the longstanding cooperation between the two agencies, emphasizing the critical role of intelligence sharing in preempting and curbing criminal activities. He called for continued collaboration to maintain peace and security across the state.

Commandant Sotiyo reciprocated by pledging his unwavering support for a stronger partnership with the DSS. He acknowledged the pivotal role both agencies play in ensuring public safety and expressed optimism about working together more effectively.
