Heraclitus says, “The only constant in life is CHANGE.” Change is inevitable in all human’s endeavours. One constant thing since the beginning of time is change. Likewise, the fear of change is also a constant event everyone is contending with in life. The fears of known and unknown make many people to resist change in life. They want to keep on doing things the way they have been doing it. Most times, people prefer tradition to be sustained, once they are able to achieve their intending goal in life. They are ignorant of the fact that if they keep doing what they have been doing, following the same tradition, pattern, and procedure, they will keep on getting the same results which they have in the past.

However, for someone desiring for a new mark in life, you must be ready to give up the tradition and break a new ground. You must be ready to breakup from the old pattern. You must be willing to move out of your comfort zone. That is what change is all about! You have to give up something you are familiar with in order to try a new method.

Change is hard because people overestimate the value of what they have and underestimate the value of what they may gain if only they will give up on the same tradition, pattern or procedure. There is a price for every good in life. There is a price for every new breakthrough in life. There is a price to pay in order to become relevant in all phases of life. The price to pay is change! If you are unwilling to pay the price, you will soon fade out in any human’s endeavour.

If you want to set a new record, there is something you must give up, you must change your bad habit, you must change your character, you must change your unruly behaviour, you must be friendly, you must be accommodating, you must be willing to go extra miles in life to get things done, you must be ready to leave your comfort zone. You must acquire new skill, you must embark on researches to discover new theories, you must attend training, and you must be ready to try a new approach to resolve that issue.

Breaking a new ground ushers you to a new phase in life. Are you ready to cross the borderline?
