No one is born to live, survive, and fulfill the purpose of destiny in isolation. God did not create us to exist like islands. We are created to live, thrive, and fulfill purpose through the power of connection.
Your skill, gift, or talent will be of little or no value if there is no one to discover it, celebrate it, or promote it. Someone must notice you, nurture your potential, and recommend you for greater visibility. What you have, someone out there needs. What you need, someone else possesses. This is the mystery and power of divine connection. It is a principle that cannot be overemphasized.
We are born to climb on the shoulders of others—whether mentors, supporters, or divine helpers—on our journey to fulfilling purpose. Many attain greatness not simply by merit but by timely and strategic connections. Someone, somewhere, somehow must mention your name or recommend you before kings for you to step into your ordained place in life.
KEYS TO CONNECTION BEYOND COMPREHENSION
- God Is the Ultimate Connector. Every sustainable connection originates from God. He is the divine orchestrator of purposeful relationships. If you desire connection that transcends understanding, you must acknowledge God as your source. He is the One who positions people and events in our favour. 1 Corinthians 8:6, “But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.” 1 Samuel 2:8, “He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them.” When you place your trust in God, He will supernaturally connect you to your destined greatness.
- Your Skill and Talent Make Room for Divine Connection. Diligence in developing your God-given gifts attracts attention and favor. You must identify, refine, and nurture your talents. Invest in learning, seek mentorship, pursue excellence—become a person of value. It is not enough to possess potential; you must prepare for presentation. Proverbs 22:29, “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.” David is a classic example. He was skillful with the harp and faithful in the wilderness. His diligence positioned him for a divine recommendation. 1 Samuel 16:18, “Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD is with him.” Because David had developed his gift in obscurity, he was recommended to stand before royalty. If you do not prepare, you will not be presented when opportunity calls.
- Divine Connection Requires Process. The road to divine connection often involves a wilderness season—a time of trials, discipline, and testing. Don’t despise the process. Let the wilderness make you, not break you. Your challenges are not obstacles, but stepping stones to your destiny. David was anointed, yet he remained in the field. He didn’t allow the field to frustrate his future. Eventually, his consistency in obscurity led to prominence. Joseph was betrayed, enslaved, and imprisoned. Each stage of pain was a pathway to his palace. He interpreted dreams in prison, which eventually brought him before Pharaoh. Genesis 41:14, “Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.” Joseph’s ability to remain faithful through process positioned him for divine connection that preserved nations.
- God Uses Men as Instruments of Connection. Even when God connects, He uses men as vessels. Mordecai remained forgotten until a divine orchestration kept the king awake. Esther 6:1-3, “On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king. And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus. And the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king’s servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him.”
God will cause those assigned to your destiny to remember you. Heaven will orchestrate an event that will trigger your announcement in the name of Jesus Christ.
PRAYER POINTS
- Father, I thank You. I acknowledge You as the source of true connection that cannot be destroyed.
- Father, thank You for the first six months of 2025. I appreciate what You are set to do in the second half of this year.
- O Lord, help me to identify, develop, and refine my skill and talent for divine connection.
- Let my talent make room for me in great and influential places in Jesus’ name. Proverbs 22:29, “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”
- Father, just as David was recommended for palace assignment after the anointing came on him 1 Samuel 16:13, “Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.” 1 Samuel 16:18, “Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD is with him.” Oh Lord, orchestrate events that will lead to my divine connection in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Lord, as Obed-Edom encountered the ark and experienced supernatural turnaround 2 Samuel 6:10-11, “10So Davidwould not remove the ark of the LORD unto him into the city of David: but David carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite. 11And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household.” Oh Lord, let my connection with You cause a dramatic shift in my destiny in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Every opposition to my divine connection, be crushed now in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Every strange voice speaking against my elevation, be silenced in the name of Jesus.
- Let those assigned to recommend or remember me lose their sleep until they fulfill their assignment in the name of Jesus Christ. Esther 6:1-3, “1On that nightcould not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king. 2And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus. 3And the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king’s servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him.”
- Use even the enemies of my promotion to announce my greatness, knowingly or unknowingly in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Oh Lord, compel my adversaries to speak in favour of my elevation in Jesus’ name.
- Lord, through every trial, guide me by Your Spirit. I will not faint, fail, or give up in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Oh Lord, help me to trust You deeply through every challenge. I declare that I will fulfill destiny in Jesus’ name.
- Oh Lord, every spirit of suicide, depression, or self-destruction whispering in my mind, I bind and cast you out by the fire of the Holy Ghost.
- Oh Lord, by divine intervention, I receive the gift of men—men who matter to my next level—in Jesus’ name.
- Lord, connect me with men and women of influence and affluence. I will not be stranded in destiny in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Jesus was in a manger, yet His glory drew men from afar. Matthew 2:1-2, “1Nowwhen Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2Saying, Whereis he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.” O Lord, let Your Shekinah glory rest on me and attract helpers from every direction.
- Thank You, Lord, for answered prayers. Let the testimonies of divine connection flood our lives, families, and church in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
