The Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Osun State Command, Mr. Agboola Sunday has reiterated commitment to wage war against pipeline vandalism, illegal dealings in petroleum products and other criminal activities in the State .
Commandant Agboola made this known during a courtesy visit to the management of Nigeria MidStream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) Osogbo, Osun State
According to the Commandant, the command under his watch has effectively deployed personnel for the safeguarding of all critical national assets and infrastructure.
He therefore enjoined the management of NMDPRA to collaborate with the command in enhancing continuous public awareness campaign against unauthorized dealings in petroleum products.
Responding, the State Coordinator, Nigeria MidStream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), Osogbo, Mr. Kunle Adeyemo said a strong collaboration with the corps would help prevent vandalism.
Mr. Kunle Adeyemo explained further that the department would collaborate in the areas of technical sessions and professional interactions with the corps.
