The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, has approved the deployment of Commandant Sotiyo Igbalawole Emmanuel to the Osun State Command, where he will serve as the new Commandant.
Commandant Sotiyo steps into the role previously held by Dr. Adaralewa Michael, who has recently been promoted to the rank of Assistant Commandant General (ACG), marking a significant milestone in his distinguished career.
A native of Abeokuta in Ogun State, Commandant Sotiyo Emmanuel is highly qualified, with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State. His extensive training spans both national and international courses, establishing him as an authority in security management and leadership.
Commandant Sotiyo’s appointment is anticipated to enhance the effectiveness of the NSCDC’s mission in Osun State, reinforcing security and service to the community.
