An event must occur that will activate the moves to remember you for good. What are your conducts? What are your attitudes? What are your actions? These are determinant factors to your season of remembrance.
Season of remembrance is a season to recall to the mind by an act or effort of memory. It is a season or period when someone being called upon for a purpose. Season of remembrance is a season everyone eagerly waiting to experience in their lifetime. It is a season of joy, a season of celebration, a season of enthronement, a season of rest, a season of comfort, it is a season someone being honoured, recognised or being enthroned, being recommended for a position. It is a season when lifetime dream comes to reality.
Everyone desires to be remembered for one thing or the other. That is why you must do well to all men in all things at all times. Your attitude to others will determine whether or not they will remember you for something good you have done to them in the past. When season of remembrance fails to manifest, you may be frustrated, you may feel disappointed, you may feel rejected, you may feel depressed and stressed up, some will lose hope, some will give up.
I am here to admonish you today, never give up. No matter the matter, never lose faith in your dream. Never go weak or weary. Ignite the fire of your faith, keep trusting in God. God will remember you for good in the name of Jesus Christ.
Hannah had been going to Shiloh over the years with an expectation to have her own children 1 Samuel 1:2-3, “2And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children. 3And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.” She may at one pant wanted to give up. But she did not. When the season of her remembrance fully comes, God blessed her with Samuel. 1 Samuel 2:21, “And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD.” Her testimony was in 1 Samuel 2:1-10, “1And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation. 2There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. 3Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed. 4The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength. 5They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble. 6The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up. 7The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. 8He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them. 9He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. 10The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.”
Joseph was not remembered by chief butler because the appointed time to remember him has not come. Genesis 40 14, “But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house: When it was his appointed time ordained by God, God created an event in king’s palace that led him to his divine lifting. Genesis 41:9-14, “9Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day: 10Pharaoh was wroth with his servants, and put me in ward in the captain of the guard’s house, both me and the chief baker: 11And we dreamed a dream in one night, I and he; we dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream. 12And there was there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret. 13And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored unto mine office, and him he hanged. 14Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.”
David was in the wilderness, watching ever the sheep of his father. He was the last burn of the family. He supposed to enjoy the comfort of his father. But he did not. He was sent to the wilderness where nobody will be able to see him, to watch over the sheep. He was kept in perpetual obscurity. When the appointed to be favoured fully comes, the anointing upon his life took him out of obscurity to limelight. Issue arose in King’s palace that established him on the path to his enthronement. 1 Samuel 16:18-21, “18Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD is with him. 19Wherefore Saul sent messengers unto Jesse, and said, Send me David thy son, which is with the sheep. 20And Jesse took an ass laden with bread, and a bottle of wine, and a kid, and sent them by David his son unto Saul. 21And David came to Saul, and stood before him: and he loved him greatly; and he became his armourbearer”.
Mordecai was nobody during the reigning of King Ahasuerus. He was just a mere man that used to sit at the king’s gate. When the appointed time to remember him fully comes, king Ahasuerus could not sleep, because of him. He called for the book of the records of the chronicles that led to the promotion of Mordecai. Esther 6:1-3, “1On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king. 2And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus. 3And the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king’s servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him.”
Note this; an event must occur that will activate the moves to remember you for good. That event will happen now in the name of Jesus Christ.
However, what are you doing before the season of your remembrance will fully come? What you are dong will determine whether or not the season of remembrance will eventually manifest. What are your conducts? What are your attitudes? What are your actions? These are determinant factors to your season of remembrance.
WHAT TO DO?
- Serve God will all your heart and might. You must love God with all your heart. Luke 10:27, “And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.” You must be active worker in the house of God. You must involve deeply in God’s business Exodus 23:25, “And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.”
- Have faith in Him. Hebrew 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” By faith Abraham received all the promises of God concerning him. Build the capacity of your faith in Him. Let your hope be in God and He will surely not let you down.
- Do good to all men Galatians 6:10, “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Your kindness to others even in your present predicament will pave way for you in life. Joseph was remembered because of his kindness to other prisoners.
- Be faithful in all things and at all times. Luke 16:10, “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.”
- Be diligent in your present assignment Proverbs 22:97, “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”
- You must pray fervently James 5:16, “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” There are forces that do want you to be remembered. There are demonic pattern in your household that want to keep you off from where you can be remembered. There are ancestral curses that want to keep you in the obscurity of life so that you will not be remembered. That is why you must fast and pray so that you can break loose from all these curses, so that you can prevail over the adversaries of your life.
Prayer:
- Oh Lord, I thank You because of Your promises, they are yes and amen.
- Oh Lord, help me to be diligent in all the assignments committed into my hands in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Oh Lord, give me grace to do good to all men that I will come across in my lifetime in the name of Jesus Christ
- Oh Lord, by Your mercy and grace, remember me for good. Let my season of remembrance manifest now in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Oh Lord, that miraculous event that must happen for me to experience unprecedented liftings, let it happen now in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Any power, principality, personality, stronghold standing against my season of remembrance be consumed by Holy Ghost fire in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Any demonic pattern in my lineage, against my season of remembrance, be consumed by Holy Ghost fire in the name of Jesus Christ.
