The voice of God is powerful. It carries supernatural power that is capable of doing great things beyond human comprehension. Job 37:5 says, “God thunders marvelously with His voice; great things He does, which we cannot comprehend.” Hebrews 4:12 declares, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
These verses emphasize the power behind God’s voice, which is beyond human understanding.
The creation of the heavens and the earth, all living creatures (in the sky, on the ground, in the seas), plants, herbs, and even man, made in the image of God, are proofs of the incomprehensible power behind His voice. When God speaks, everything comes into existence.
Genesis 1:3 “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”
Genesis 1:6 “And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” Genesis 1:9 “And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.” Genesis 1:11 “And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.” Genesis 1:14 “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.”
Genesis 1:20 “And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.” Genesis 1:24 “And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.” Genesis 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.”
All that God spoke came into existence through the power of His voice. Through the Scriptures, we gain a deep understanding of the Word and the power behind it.
John 1:1-5 says, “1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”
These verses reveal that Jesus Christ is the Word and the Power. The Word and the power in the Word have been transferred to us through redemption. The first Adam lost the power given to us in Genesis 1:28, but through Jesus Christ, we regained the power. He paid the price on the Cross at Calvary.
As a redeemed believer, your voice is no longer ordinary; it carries power to do great things. That is why we need the Holy Spirit to guide the words that proceed from our mouths so that we do not fall victim to our own words. Many believers are ignorant of this power, and Satan exploits this ignorance to deny them their inheritance in Christ Jesus. But victory has come! The influence of ignorance over our lives ends permanently now in the name of Jesus Christ! Your spirit, soul, and body are alive in the power of Christ. Today, you will exercise the power you have through redemption, and Satan and his hosts will bow before you in the name of Jesus Christ.

- Oh Lord, every spirit of depression and distress, bringing thoughts of suicide into the hearts of men, die now by fire in the name of Jesus Christ.

- Any power, principality, personality, or stronghold in my father’s house and mother’s house waging spiritual and physical war against Your promises for my life in 2025, Holy Ghost fire, burn them to ashes now in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Any power, principality, personality, or stronghold from my bloodline crying for vengeance over my destiny, the power in God’s voice silences them permanently now in the name of Jesus Christ.
- I pull down every ancestral prison holding my destiny into ransom. The prison doors are broken, the shackles are destroyed, and I am clothed with a new garment of royalty. I am rising in God and shining for His glory to be seen across the nations of the earth in the name of Jesus Christ.
