Joshua 1:3, “Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.”
I decree in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, you will take over, where you have been defeated before; you will arise to win this time around. You will take over territories, you will rule over the affairs of men in the name of Jesus Christ. The above verse of the Scripture emphasizes on our dominion mandate. It reawakens in us that divine instruction from God. That is to take charge in all the sphere of life.
Man by default is created to be in charge. Genesis 1:28, “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
All these decrees are divine authority from God to man. He wants us to take over in all sphere of life. He wants us to dominate in all of our pursuits in life. He wants us to take possession wherever the sole of our feet tread upon. That will be your portion in the name of Jesus Christ. But the first Adam lost these mandates through the craftiness of Satan. Satan lured Adam through his wife Eve to disobey God’s commandment not to eat forbidden fruit. After this unfortunate event, the glory of God departed from man, the spirit of fear came upon the man and he could not stand before God again. Adam lost his daily communion with God, he lost his authority to be in charge and he became a slave to Satan. Since then, mankind has been struggling to reclaim the lost glory until Jesus Christ came on board.
Because of God’s love to us, He sent His only begotten Son to die for us and reconcile us back to Him John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” His death, the blood that was shed on the Cross at Calvary, and His resurrection give us access to God to reclaim our lost mandates from Satan and his agents. Through Jesus Christ, we are back on our feet to taking over what belong to us. Through Christ Jesus, we triumph 2 Corinthians 2:14, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.”
His resurrection has given us access key to reign throughout to the eternity. Who do you think you are? What is your identity? Are you an adulterer or a fornicator? Do you know Him or not? What are your stories? Are you deeply rooted in sin? Have you killed or maimed? Are you deeply rooted in bad habits and you think no one can deliver you from such habits? Are you under lawful or unlawful captives? Are you in Him or far from Him? Have you condemned yourself or being condemned by others? Are you taking glory in the works of flesh Galatians 5:19-21, “19Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
All these will not make you to take over. They will only make you to be enslaved by Satan and eventually end up with him in hell fire. That will not be your end in Jesus’ name
Today’s call is call to salvation. Today’s call is call to redemption. Today’s call is call to take over in Him. There is no one who can empower you to take over from your adversaries. Only through His name you can take over. His name is above every other name. Philippians 2:6-11, “6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
