If you cannot speak out to be in charge of your world, the powers that be will rule over the affairs of your life. If you cannot speak out boldly, you will be at the mercy of what they decree into your life.
Life is not for the weak or fearful people, but for the courageous ones. Life is not only for the courageous ones, but to those who can speak out with boldness. The world we are living in is controlled by the words. The Scripture establishes the fact that the heavens and the earth were created through God’s utterances. Genesis 1:1-3, “1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”
The plants, the herbs on the fields, all the creatures in the sky, on the earth, underneath earth and in the oceans were created through the authority of His words. He spoke and all came to pass. The God said let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness. Genesis 1:26, “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” He said it before He began the process of making man in His image and likeness and He gave man power through His word.
These verses of the Scripture emphasize on the importance of speaking out! This also shows that every word we speak carries power. There is a spirit (be it good or bad spirit) behind every word will speak. The spirit has the supreme power to bring the word to physical manifestation.
The world is controlled by the words and if you cannot speak out to be in charge of your world, the powers that be will rule over the affairs of your life. If you cannot speak out boldly, you will be at the mercy of what they decree into your life. That is why you must have the right word in you for every situation or circumstance you are facing or passing through in your lifetime.
John 1:1-5, “1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 6There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.” As Christians, Jesus Christ is the word to us. If you are willing to accept Him into your life, He will dwell in you forever. He will shine through you. He will make you a conqueror in all the battles of life. He will give you utterances. He will help you to speak with boldness and faith. Nothing will be able to intimidate in life again 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
A man of boldness should be a man of faith. You can only develop your faith capacity through God’s word. Romans 10:17, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” You develop that capacity to speak out with boldness because of what you have in you. The volume of God’s word in you will determine what you will say when you face with the challenges of life. Matthew 12:34, “O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks”
If you feed your mind with the right words, they will definitely become your saving grace in the time of trials. That is why you must be a friend of God’s words. You must study, meditate and reflect on God’s words. You will develop courage and faith through His word. Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”
David conquered Goliath with boldness and God’s words he decreed. 1 Samuel 17:41-47, “41And the Philistine came on and drew near unto David; and the man that bare the shield went before him. 42And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance. 43And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that you come to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. 44And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field. 45Then said David to the Philistine, you come to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. 46This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take your head from thee; and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. 47And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saves not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’S, and he will give you into our hands.”
There was exchange of words, with an assigned spirit to enforce the words uttered by both men. Goliath cursed David by his gods. But David did not keep mute. He countered the words Goliath spoke. You must not keep mute in the face of challenges and battles of life. You must rise up to speak out with boldness. You must speak the right words to every challenge that comes your way in the journey of life. All the words David spoke came to manifestations. The battle was settled at the realm of the spirit through words before God gave David victory in the physical over Goliath. You must also speak out! Your words will carry power and authority in the name of Jesus Christ.
HOW CAN YOU DEVELOP CAPACITY TO SPEAK WITH BOLDNESS?
- You must be saved through Jesus Christ. 1 John 5:4, “For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.” The first step to guarantee the capacity to speak with boldness is your salvation. If you are in Christ, your confidence will be restored to speak out boldly. 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
- You must grow in Christ through daily study and meditation on God’s words. You must desire for His words. His words will give you light and understanding. His words will instruct, guide, comfort and scold you. Psalms 119:130, “The entrance of thy words gives light; it gives understanding unto the simple.” Joshua 1:8, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shall meditate therein day and night, that thou may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shall make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
- You must grow your boldness through faith in His words.
- You must speak out with boldness to exercise that faith and authority you have in His words.
I pray this day, may you develop spiritual capacity to be able to speak out with boldness in Jesus’ name. As you speak out, your words will be embedded with the unprecedented powers and authority for unusual signs and wonders in the name of Jesus Christ.
Prayer:
- Oh Lord, help me to develop my spirit capacity in Your words.
- Oh Lord, strengthen my boldness and faith through Your words.
- Oh Lord, help me to exercise my boldness and faith in Your words in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Oh Lord, fill my heart and mouth with the right words every moment of my life. Whatever I decree and declare in Your name shall be established in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Oh Lord, let my words carry power and authority in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Oh Lord, help me to guard my tongue to speak the right word every second, minute, hour and moment in Jesus’ name.
