A wonder man in God is someone whose life is a divine testimony that makes others marvel at the power, grace, and glory of God. Such a person is a living proof of God’s greatness — people look at him and can only say, “This can only be God.” That will be your testimony in the name of Jesus Christ.

Everyone is born with a seed of wonder because our God is a God of wonders and we are made in His image to manifest His wonders as the reflection of God’s glory in our lives. Inside of you are unprocessed potentials you can leverage on to be a wonder to your generation and generations yet to come. The first bold step of becoming a wonder is to align with God. Once you are secured in Him, the host of heaven will be at your back to perfect your manifestation from the beginning to the end.

God wants our lives to manifest His wonders irrespective of our background. Psalm 113:7 – “He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the dunghill.” 1 Samuel 2:8 – “He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and he has set the world upon them.” Consider Jephthah: he was an outcast, born of a harlot, and chased out of his father’s house. Yet, he did not allow his background to limit him. He developed himself to become a man of valour. Later, he was sought after to deliver his people (Judges 11:1–11).

After redemption through our Lord Jesus Christ, you must seek the purpose of your redemption. That is the very purpose of your creation — living a life that impacts others and preparing to reign with Him after your sojourn on earth. It is your sole responsibility to walk it out, though you must still depend on God for divine direction.

If you cannot think it through, it will be difficult to live it through. Whatever you can see in the realm of the spirit and take decisive actions to pursue is what you can truly become in life.

If you cannot think through, you cannot see through; If you cannot see through, you cannot live through; If you cannot live through, you cannot possess; And if you cannot possess, manifesting wonders will remain a mere dream — one that may never see the light of day.

1. Seeing it in the Spirit Before Having it

  • Genesis 13:14–15 – “And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.” What Abraham could see, God gave him.
  • Jeremiah 1:11–12 – “Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.” God performs what you can see spiritually.
  • Habakkuk 2:2–3 – “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Vision must be seen, written, and pursued.

2. Thinking it Through / Renewing the Mind

  • Proverbs 23:7 – “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.” Your inner thoughts shape your reality.
  • Romans 12:2 – “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Transformation begins in the mind.
  • Ephesians 3:20 – “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” God works with what you ask and think in line with His Spirit.

3. Taking Decisive Actions

  • James 2:17 – “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” Faith without decisive action produces no result.
  • Joshua 1:8 – “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Meditation + action = success.
  • Philippians 3:13–14 – “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Vision demands pressing action.

Challenges will come along as you take steps to actualize your dream. But with perseverance and strong faith in God, nothing can stop you from being the wonder God has ordained for your life.

David valued integrity; even when he sinned, he repented sincerely (Psalm 51:10).
  9. Wisdom: Proverbs 4:7 – “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Joseph’s wisdom in administration saved Egypt and surrounding nations (Genesis 41:39). David’s wisdom made him successful as a leader and loved by the people (1 Samuel 18:14–16).
  10. Courage (Boldness): Joshua 1:9 – “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” Joseph had courage to speak truthfully before Pharaoh (Genesis 41:16). David showed courage when he faced Goliath (1 Samuel 17:32–37).
  11. Gratitude and Worship: Psalm 34:1 – “I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Joseph acknowledged God as the source of his gift (Genesis 41:16). David was a man of praise and thanksgiving, and God called him “a man after my heart” (Acts 13:22).
